VIEW    READ ONLY    PRINT   SAVE   A    A  Muffler maintenence 200 posted by  Nel621 on  Sat Nov 14 20:43 CST 2009 Author: [PROFILE] [EVERY POST] [THREADS] [BEST POSTS]     [IGNORE ALL POSTS] last visit: Sat Mar 20 15:10 CST 2010 [RELATED] I'm working on 2 different 240s right now with the same problem in your pic.On one I used a piece of pipe as a sleeve to shore up the break.Not pretty,minor leak but hey it is more quite and does not hang down,car is not a keeper.For the other car I ordered a new exhaust from FCP.I was thinking about coating the inside of the pipes at the joints with POR or some type of anti-rust paint.Maybe it will help.
