Boost gauge not working arrggghhhh!! 740 turbo 700 1989

Maybe attach a tire pump to the new gauge and see if it registers any pressure? Now it's only designed to register maybe up to 10 psi so don't pump too much. The Volvo boost gauge should read around the 9-10 o'clock position when in idle which corrisponds to around 17-19 inches Hg vacuum.
