You should start by inspecting and cleaning all teh ground connections you can find. There are lots in the engine bay, but some rather imporant ones down by the starter and the alternator. Disconnect negative battery cable first.
It sounds like possibly an alternator issue to me. Have you checked the voltage at the battery with a multimeter with the car running?? You should have about 14 volts. Anything substantially less than that and your alternator is putting out the right juice. The dash gauge will get you close but is not terribly accurate.
The reason I say i think its the alternator is I had some of the same symptoms a few weeks ago: the idoit lights would flash and the SRS light stayed on. I was only getting 11.5 volts at the battery terminals at idle.
I pulled the alternator and took to an auto electric shop and they replaced the brushes and voltage regulator for $50.00. Problem solved!
Might be something to check. Good Luck.
