VIEW    READ ONLY    PRINT   SAVE   A    A  Why the extra 2 screws on the golve box? 200 posted by  Nel621 on  Fri Oct 30 16:10 CST 2009 Author: [PROFILE] [EVERY POST] [THREADS] [BEST POSTS]     [IGNORE ALL POSTS] last visit: Tue Mar 16 21:57 CST 2010 [RELATED] I had to remove the glove on my 92 240 today to access the OD relay.I figured a 3 minute job tops.Low and behold the box has 2 extra screws in it.One on each side near the bottom and close to the hinges.What a royal PIA that was.The screw could not be reached with any screw driver except for one with a 90 degree bend in it,good thing I had one.But a 3 minute job turned into almost a 30 min. nightmare.I could only turn the screw maybe 1/4 turn at a time.Needless to say I did not reinstall these.Who came up with that geat idea?
