B230FT Thoughts 200

It cost to play. John you gave me a reality check. I would be happy with a 15 pSI boost range but I do know how addictive power is. I have a set of JE 1,200.00 pistons and some 6" Crower titainium (unlimited rpm unlimited HP) rods bolts torque on 90 Ft lbs) $3500.00 rods, billet caps 4 bolt on all five main. all for a 400 SBC. no crank yet. This is all for my Vette killer project. Block is going to 300 below before I have it bored in December. When i think about the money I have spent on parts and tools, I think I'm a little sick in the head and see I'm not the only one. If I had that kind of power in my 240 I sure I could sucker punch quite a few good old boys in my neck of the woods. I should have that b230FT in hand November 11th. I hoping for a good engine that i will not have to build. Here in Northwest Alabama there are no good sources for volvo anything. The 16V head is so trick and it not as bad as I though with the links you provided. Its also very clear that you are much better with Volvo than I am. Never Had to do anything. Once I figure out exactly what to do I'm going for it. You have me studying your picture and craving for more hint hint. Post more of everything. your entire car too so that If I do run up on you I don't sucker punched. greg
