It's the rod where it joins the transmission lever. On the shift lever side there's a large clip. But it seems on the trans side there's not as much room to fit that kind of clip. Do I just use an e-type retaining clip, like I have pictured? It's to attached the rod to the hinge, as well as the hinge to the lever.
