I think you might be able to do it. You can take out the old shell by cutting it with a hacksaw or file. Then enlarge the bushing hole slightly with something like a wire wheel until you can press/hammer the new one in with whatever tools you have.

I have only installed poly bushings though and have not done the TABs yet . . .
