Surviving a 3 time rollover 200

I rolled my 87 240 three times at about 70 mph while trying to make a blind curve... blah blah - it was a stupid mistake for driving so fast in an area i only had a cursory knowledge of. I had a concussion and a bruised elbow... my girlfriend was walking around answering questions to the authorites and paramedics. Awesome car!

If you're gunna "race" and live hard... get an 850. They are best equipped for the "other" types of impact. The SIPS has saved many of pelvic bones/spines by an ingenius design of using tubular bars under the seats. I know my fellow RWD bricksters will despise and cringe at seeing a newer generation of drivers getting that "new" volvo... but this is just something we all gotta respect... the Bricks will be crushed and the FWDs are still in abundance. I own both (1992 240 and the hated 1993 850) and the only major gripe any Brickster can hold a wrench at is that the 850 is a fitted engine car (no room for knuckles and elbows) So when you're biting your finger nails cuz you don't see any rust free 240's in your area... Don't forget that the Volvo continued on after 1993 and died when Ford bought them and killed the S90.... work with those years.
