After tearing into my carbs, I discovered that not only were my jets different lengths, they were also too small. This created havoc trying to tune things. Additionally, the primary butterfly valves were incorrect, and I had play in my primary throttle shaft. Eventually I decided to have Rhys rebuild the carbs. The transaction was painless, and he went above and beyond to do an outstanding job. Carbs came back as if they were brand new, and every detail was taken care of. I put them on the car, and it started right up. After some tuning, the car is like brand new. More power, better economy, smooth acceleration. It really is a pleasure to have fixed all those issues in one effort. I would highly recommend Rhys to anyone considering a carb rebuild.
