I believe I understand how to use OBD now. Thanks all. I cleared the codes and the error hasn't returned and the car seems to be running better. However, now the heater core went south on me. (My son's car) along with a 1-2-3 code on pin 2. I cleared and it didn't come back but got 2-2-4 on pin 6 so must still have a problem. I bypassed the heater core temporarily.
