M410 bellhousing clutch bracket?? 140-160

I agree.. I would not try to fabricate a clutch cable bracket when the right part is so readily available... a bell housing with teh correct cable attachment is easy... any 140 bellhousing from a stick shift car will have the right one. I'm sure I've got a couple, but I bet you'd be able to find one more locally..

There is a lot of force on that bracket, and changing a bellhousing later is a pretty big job.

Sounds like your on the right track in other regards though..
