In the U.S. that would be the Turbo 240s thru 1985. The device that Ken C refers to is an A/C "Idle Speed Increase" solenoid on the throttle body idle speed adjuster. On early B21s the solenoid bypassed additional air when activated by voltage from the compressor clutch circuit. -- Bruce Young, '93 940-NA (current), 240s (one V8), 140s, 122s, since '63.
