Very much appreciate the useful input. But I have to say I am losing heart with the seeming continuous series of electrical problems with this car. Must have had 10 different issues in the past year. - Flasher relay - Lamp failure warning relay - Climate Control "brain" - Shift-lock switch - Electric window switches - and a few more I have forgotten for now.... I suppose I be will digging into this at the weekend (was looking forward to just drinking a few beers and eating some hotdogs and hamburgers).
