Too dark now. I'd guess that "crank position sensor" is the same thing as "crank speed sensor" as shown here. http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-200/Engine/Engine-Electrical/Crank-Speed-Sensor/p-69-258-335-3946/ Luckily, it's not that expensive, though like many things, it looks like the old “X is a supreme pain in the ass to replace, but it’s not an expensive part” maxim applies.
