Three years ago, failed on a functioning license plate light that was missing a plastic lens... FAIL! One additional change starting this year in NC is that you have to have your inspection BEFORE you renew your registration, if you don't pass the test, you don't get plates! All this is is another tax that pays the special interest groups that pushed the inspections in the first place, any guess who they are??? Yep, the automotive repair and service centers! Don't worry about what the individual states are doing right now, pretty soon the federales will come up with their own test tax that will eliminate any car over five years old... I hope I'm wrong! jorrell -- 92 245 278K miles, IPD'd to the hilt, 06 XC70, 00 Eclipse custom Turbo setup...currently taking names and kicking reputations!
