We are pretty far off topic here.
I don't know how many years you spent in the military but if you spent any time in at all,
you know that to avoid SEVERE consequences, you obey the lawful orders of those over you.
In case of unlawful orders the procedure is to obey first and investigate the lawfulness (via IG, etc) later.
There is no way you can have an effective military if the commander cannot depend absolutely on
his officers and men to carry out his orders with alacrity.
Constitutionality is usually determined by the chain of command.
