New 780 owner 700 1991

Hi Brett,

I'm on hold with my 780 until there is time to install a flange mount fuel tank in the trunk area, ala 65 mustang. The B280 soounds like a new motor and it has all of the external change parts recently (prior to junking) changed which is a mystery. We are still going to change the running gear eventually, but that will be moved to last in anticipation that this engine is not as tired as I first suspected. We really want a T-5 behind something in here and I am leaning now more toward building a 231 Buick v-6 with the optional supercharger for it. Those are great, long-lived engines that make a lot of hp for the amount of holes. Maybe I can get my grin back with a couple of hundred plus under my foot!

Regards,
