HOWEVER let it be known that after changing the air filter i think i got about 28+mpg between tucson and barstow, at around 70mph (I know, i was not expecting that either but maybe my calculations are off), then it took a turn for the worse somewhere near LA and it went back down to about 24, where I expect it to remain. i like volvodad's detailed response and i think i'll look into that for the future (if i get this baby up and running again). thanks Mark this post as an answer to my question<- Use this feature to mark quality replies to your post.
