This is a recent dodge. It is inherently crap, built to fail, and the mechanic is probably right. Dodge has had so many head problems with their engines it's ridiculous. Throw it away, don't even waste the money on an engine. Buy a pre 2003 Toyota instead if you need a truck, or a Ford diesel.
