Return Fuel Line Question 200 1993

Hello All,

The return line from the hard pipe adjacent to the fuel rail seems to have some cracking in the covering rubber?.

I noticed that the incoming fuel line uses a rubber protective sheath over the actual fuel line. Is this the case with the return line as well.

I loosened the compression clamp and started to remove the return line to get a better look at it. It started to slide off, but after a little more thinking I figured, I'd ask you people first before I monkey around with the return line, lest I have gas spraying all over the place with static pressure in the fuel rail.

Is this something to worry about?
