A while back I made notes from a BB posting about a modification to the wiper relay which would allow variable sweep intervals. I'm afraid that my notes are not so clear that I can still make out whose good idea this was. If any of you readers are the author of the original post, which I have been unable to find in the archives, please accept my apology for failing to give credit where due. Here are my notes, incomplete as they are regarding attribution:

• Modification for variable-interval wipers: Modify the existing relay, behind the footrest on the driver's side. Remove the 56 K ohm resistor (green-blue-orange) and solder two wires going to a 300 K ohm potentiometer which you place among the switches in the center console. Then you can adjust the interval between 1.5 and 35 seconds.

I think I'll try this. Any other suggestions?
