Have I gone Crazy? There was a 123GT on eBay last night 120-130

It would be very hard to fake a 123GT. Besides all the differences and extras (that are very hard to find, while some are impossible to find) to a 123GT, the type number, year letter and chassis numbers (i.e. 133351 or 133352Pxxxxxx is punched into the body of the car just above the heater. The ID plate can be replaced (again, where would you get one from since those cars are very rare) but you would have to punch the number on the body too. This is the first item to look at when you are inspecting a car that might be a GT. Hope this helps.

The said car is now on the 123GT register.
