Well that really is decent news that you can see it coming from underneath the left front tire...ie, the pump area itself. Take it to a shop and have them run the car while up on a rack. Bet it won't take them but 1 minute to see the problem. I'll also bet it shouldn't be more than an hour's labor charge and a small part fee (filter-pump line) to fix it.
