Check this on the 700/900 FAQ here on the Brick Board .... http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/EnginePerformanceSymptoms.htm#EmissionControlProblemsHighHCCOorNOx If you do need a cat, there are a lot less expensive after market direct fit cats available. Is you Brick a 940 or 960? You might try pricing a new aftermarket cat at FCP Groton or some other online source. Check here: http://www.fcpgroton.com/Volvo700900exhaust/volvo700900exhaust.htm A 940 after market cat should run about $150 ... the 960 is about $300. Hope this helps.
