My wagon has new tail lights that have been on the car for about a year. The bulb indicator started coming on once in awhile then stayed on.The brake light bulb at the bottom of the lamp wasn't making contact anymore. The first time for the repair I took a pocket screw driver and bent the metal tab out of the black plastic that it had melted in this lasted for about a week. The next time I took the light out again and came to the conclusion that the metal tab was back in the plastic and no contact was being made again.I used the pocket screw driver again to pry the metal tab out of the plastic, but this time I added a small piece a vacumn tube that I slit inhalf, the tubing is about half to three quarters long. The tubing has been in the light for about three weeks and no problems.I hope that this helps those of you that have wagons with the same problem. At least for me the bulb indicator light hasn't come back on.I guess this is what I get for buying after market tail lights,I just couldn't afford those high price Volvo lights.
Thanks
Rodney
