front defrost problem 200

Justin,

I'd check the engine bay vacuum line first. The engine heat often causes the line(s) under the hood to split and lose vacuum. Often there's enough slack in the damaged line to cut the split end off with a razor knife and slide it back on the connector. Look for a vacuum line that runs through the firewall on the passenger side of the engine bay and check the connections all the way over to the intake manifold. I have these under hood vacuum lines splt frequently and when they do the defroster fails to have much if any air flow and on cruise control equipted Bricks, the CC will not hold a set speed. If this is your problem,it is a simple, two minute fix and your DF vents will blow strong again. Good Luck.
