VIEW    READ ONLY    PRINT   SAVE   A    A  still struggling with the 84,i've replaced AMM,ECU and air control valve,the engine still roars 200 posted by  someone claiming to be kris carlson on  Tue Aug 9 16:44 CST 2005 [RELATED] any ideas?the junk yard donor had the same colored wires connected to the air control valve as i do.....help?it seems the air control valve is staying open,but why?if I plug the hose it idles at normal speed...does anyone have a comprehensive wiring diagram of this engine...thanks- as always,kris ...p.s. i just put a "new"wiring harness in...
