OEM Tow Hitch - Receiver Size? 700

Actually, 1-1/4" is typical to Class II, and 2" typical to Class III, even though the weight limits on a Volvo put both in Class II.

Anyways, it's just another of Volvo's proprietary things. I'd find a steel fabricating shop to cut two pieces of 1/2" steel (or 4 pieces of 1/4" steel) out of their scrap, have a hole drilled or burned in 'em, and tack-welded to the existing receiver to space it down to a 2" square. To secure your accessories, you will need a longer bar, but that's about it.

Otherwise, you'd be looking at spending $$$ at Volvo for an OEM drawbar that's very limited IMHO.
