last visit: Fri Jul 24 10:30 CST 2009[RELATED]Check the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line for signs of gas leakage. Check for manifold and intake system air leaks. Maybe try some MAS cleaner and reseat the MAS plug.

last visit: Sat Sep 12 22:11 CST 2009[RELATED]It was the MAS plug. (The air sensor coming off of the air cleaner box.) Reseating the plug fixed the surging. It was partially seated, and the wire bail was dislodged on one side.
