I think I found a rear seat for your 445. It's in Oregon. I sent you a email about it. It was on the IPD ads:

Thanks as well! Your photos help a great deal.
Is the cushion left in when you put the back rest down?
I am not sure if I will ever come across an available Duett cushion or bar.
The 544 cushion is not as deep. Another 2X4 and a few screws should keep it from sliding around. My dog Sonic is the primary occupant of that area anyway.
Setting the interior up properly is a long way off. Lots and lots of body work still to do.

The bottom cushion stays in when the back cushion comes down. Like the 240's.
There has been several 445/210s for sale in the last year. A few were parts quality cars. Never checked to see what happened to them.
I tend to post them when they come up. Like this fine example:

BTW- I found the post for that P210, it has the guys phone number in it. Might be worth to see if the guy still has it or not:

I hope someone saved that one. Surface rust or brown primer? Pretty straight. New wheels look a bit out of place but note ULTRA rare sliding passenger window. Someone in Sweden would probably grab and restore it just for that fact alone.

My '60 P210 has that option. I think that why I kept the pictures.
Did you notice the roofrack off to the side too?

Yeah.Thanks.Interesting.
After I have another cup of tea I am going to pull the seat out and try to conceptualize how the bar and hinge come into play.
Any ideas?

Take a look at Section 8, page 15. Item 8 is called a "Seat support". I do not see where the "Hinge" on page 63 fits. Maybe Suppo176 or someone else who owns a PV will see your question and be able to add more information.
