When I was younger, say thirty years ago, people claimed English cars had "soul" as a pathetic excuse for the reliability problems they had. I still hear people claiming that Miata's don't have soul, but that Lotus Elan's do.....sure.....and soul is what you need busted down at the side of the road. Volvos have personality, but not soul. Personality makes us name them. Save soul for Ferrari's and E-types and TR-6's as they need bags of it.
