renewing suspension on a '95 945 900

I've got a new-to-me 945 with 130k on the clock. I am the second owner, the original owner seemed to take the car to the dealer for everything (up through 100k or so). Although I've not yet removed the snow tires, the car feels fairly loose above 40mph. Do you have any advice about what parts of the suspension I should plan to replace to tighten up the ride and reduce the rattles over the railroad tracks?

I assume that ball joints and outer tie rod ends would be a good start for the front end, and I suppose with them the front shocks and shock mounts might be a good idea. What else should I think about tackling? Do the front springs on these cars wear out? Are there other critical front-end bushings I should worry about? Do I need a press to do any of this repair work, or is it basically just plug-and-play?
