I didn't think of that possibility -- good for you! But if he adjusted it, it may be too "tight", and not letting the throttle linkage back down against the (screw) stop on the throttle body; and if that's the case, maybe it also isn't closing the throttle position switch that lets the ECU know that the engine is in "idle" mode.
