I have a 1982 245T with 457k. I purchased it with 88k and have done all the maintenance on it since. I have never had any "mysterious" vibrations until recently. It was coming from the rear end but very low in volume--sounded a little like something "dry" that was rubbing over and over. It turned out the differential needs to be replaced. Over the last few weeks before this noise became noticeable there seemed to be slight vibrations and at times a window would vibrate and sometimes a squeak or two from the dash area. This was apparently a warning that something was going on in the rear.
From my experience with this model it would seem to me you would check the following:
1. Rotors warped?
2. dragging brake shoe?
3. Hanger bearing on the driveline?
4. Differential
5. Tire out of balance or uneven tire wear-could also be a bent rim(have you hit a curb or something fairly hard?)
If any of the above are out of wack then they can cause "mysterious" noises on the interior of the car. Can show up in the dash, window glides, plastic pieces over and under the steering wheel.
Since you did not give any info on what "mysterious" is or where located the above would be my best guesses with this particular car. Hope it helps and hope it gets remedied.
