won WWI? was he fighting in the trenches? was he laying out the strategy for defeat?

and what about the treaty of versailles-which directly led to WWII? feel like giving him any credit for that?

and what about the fact that our involvement in WWI was incredibly unpopular-before, during and after our involvement?

and oh, one of my favorites: the federal reserve and income tax (which was devised as a way to make up for lost revenue from prohibition).

wilson: a blatant racist. league of nations: the beginnings of the sacrifice of our sovereignty through international organizations.

wilson was an awful leader who spent the waning years of his life agonizing over the failures of his presidency. i wouldn't exactly call him the model for american presidency.
