Food for thought....

If running the presidential mouth hole had any positive effect then Bush would have had the world all cleaned up before he left office. Unfortunately, in the real world, seldom does anything beneficial or constructive come from simply being an obnoxious loudmouth. This particular issue, it seems, has really separated the conservative wheat from the neocon chaff; true Conservatives have generally supported the common sense, conservative approach taken by Obama they understand the U.S. role in Iranian history and that no good can come from bellicose rhetoric in this situation. They understand that “Bush speak” (tough sounding but ultimately empty noise) could only hurt and prevent us from realizing what we desire in Iran. Knee-jerk neocons on the other hand have been advocating the same wrong-headed shit that is the hallmark of failure of the Bush years, the very thing that got them kicked out of power last November. I hope that the gulf between Conservatives and neocons continues to widen and that the Republican Party gets back to its roots because there really needs to be sane opposition in D.C. to help keep things from getting too weird.
