Ban Smoking on the Beach !

Earlier this year, I promised to not revert back to the way I was before. Posts like this one make it very hard to keep that promise. Let me preface the rest of this by saying that I am a non smoker.

You, and people such yourself have made life miserable for those who still choose to smoke. They used to be able to light up pretty much anywhere. You have driven the issue until they no longer have even a small smoking section, but are relegated to going outside to smoke, if they are allowed to smoke on the property at all.

Now you are hounding them outdoors, where second hand smoke is not an issue. I see it as a power trip for some of you. You need to clean up your own house before pursueing these people further. You will hit a point where they will say enough, and will turn on you.

Wait until they start ratting you out for smoking pot, or driving from a bar after you have had a couple of drinks. I'm tired of hearing about it. If you don't want to smoke, then dont. Leave them alone. As you said, you seldom see smoking on the beach, but yet have been successful in having the signage installed. What a waste!

Oh yes, You are getting a thumb down for your post.
