Thanks for the tip on Wild Fly Ale, will try it(Montana Aleworks) when we stop in Bozeman on the way to New Mexico. And The Belt Brewery in Belt is a real "find". We stopped there a few summers ago on the way to Livingston, it was 95 out & we were in desperate of a cold pint. Everything was perfect & a couple of Beltian Whites later we were on our way. In fact, I recall that we took a "growler" with us!
It`s great you are re-connecting & building an adult relationship with your daughter. My daughter is now 28 & tho` we`ve always been close, those teen years were challenging & the relationship that we`ve had these past years has been so much more rewarding. I am now building a really positive relationship with my stepdaughter & that`s been a big shift in the past 18 months. Her Dad exited her life when she was 7 so I think she had big expectations of me when her Mom & I got together. Sadly, I fell short of the mark many times. Sara & her dad have had contact a bit over the past while but he is just too self focused to give much of himself & his time. Over the years there have been many times that I`ve watched this young girl cry over her Dad & thought if I ever met the guy I`d kick his butt!!
The past few days here have been rain but we had a beautiful wkend. Got our calves branded on Saturday, no wrecks!! Sunday we put up our tipi which we picked up in Kalispell the previous wkend. That went fairly well, took awhile as none of us had any previous experience in putting up a tipi. BYW, for anyone interested in tipi`s, I highly recommend Nomadic Tipis out of Bend Oregon. Good price, very well constructed tipi & excellent service.
All for now: off to eastern Canada for a week!
