Will it appears Ted Kennedy has the same type of brain tumor that I do, and in the same part of the brain. (the left parital)(sp)
We both have inoperable tumors based on the location, (deep brain) and the eloquent part is above the tumor. You can't mess with that; it controls speech, and everything else that makes you, you.
It was interesting to hear about what the docs have in store for him. I am on already on avastin, but that doesn't seem to be working for me.
It is hell to be verbal and lose that skill. Ted should expect to have right side corrupted. I can't feel my right hand now; and a result, I have burned, cut it, and lost my keys when I hold them then in my right hand. I have taught Fanny, my 7 old Golden Retriever to be Service Dog. Both my dogs will pick up items that I drop.
I don't know how long I can hang on; but I will do my best.
