Brixters,
fcp groton updated their website, but i don't like some of changes.
1) the diagrams which had different parts numbered for easy listing and mfr, all on same page is gone.
2) too much drilling down.
both ipd and fcp has updated their websites, but i went to fcp's website because everything was on 1 page, pictures/diagrams, mfr, price, p/n, etc.
now, i have to find which bushing the boges are. for example, fcp has several bushings pictured for the same part. i have to click each picture to find out who the mfr is.
recently, i've been buying more and more parts more frequently, because i could go very fast picking the items i needed and check out quickly.
this is not a case of learning how to navigate through their website. navigating now takes more time because finding the parts with a particular mfr is a more convoluted process.
hope they return to their previous format. it really worked well.
the page looks more slick, just like any internet parts sites, but that's exactly why i liked the old fcp website. i liked seeing everything on one page. that way i can see all the parts needed for the suspension, brakes, a/c, and all their categories they previously had.
regards,
byron golden
