Everyone here loves Ron Paul. He sound good on the surface; screw the IRS! He wants to get rid of the CIA. He thinks global warming is a controversy which it isn't the bush administration hired people from the petroleum industry to be on the governments environmental commissions to make global warming into a controversy. He wants to drill in ANWAR! He wants to put alternative energy on the back burner! His so called fair tax is a regressive tax in which ALL of the poors income will be taxed and the rich can just hide much of their money in tax free shelters and not be taxed! He is anti national health care. Ron Paul supports Dick Chaney's energy plan! Ron Paul will create no nation amendment denouncing gay marriage. Hold on that sounds good, but if you do your research he has consistently voted for anti gay marriage legislation. He wants to leave gay marriage for the state to decide, because he knows they will not support it. That would have been about like letting the kkk decide if we should integrate the schools or not in the 50s. He voted no for embryonic stem cell research. He supports school prayer. He voted to abolish the US dept of education in December 2000! He voted YES on continuing intelligence gathering without civil oversight. Voted NO on establishing nationwide AMBER alert system for missing kids. Ron Paul IS A REPUBLICAN for a reason!!!!!!! He conned some of the liberal vote. If you are a liberal who voted for Ron Paul you got duped! I know there hasn't been to much of a choice, but do your research a little. Sorry for the long rant but I am sure I will get lost of boos and hisses for goring your sacred cow.
