I wonder how many of us would be willing to swap "The American Dream" for a cradle to grave welfare system, free education plus a generous stipend while in college, free health care, six weeks paid vacation, six month maternity or paternity leave with full pay (even for students), guaranteed retirement pension, etc. in exchange for a 50% income tax rate?
