Probably should have posted info about this much, much earlier than I did but here it is.
The Volvo Club of Queensland is hosting the 2008 National Volvo Clubs Rally in Toowoomba (west of Brisbane) from 16-19 May 2008. This will coincide with our 10th Anniversary.
Rally Registrations are steadily coming in and at this stage the Grammar View Motel is full and bookings are now being made at the Apple Gum Motel which is next door.
To date we have received registrations from New Zealand, South Australia, Victoria, ACT, NSW and Queensland.
A lot of interest has been shown in Sunday only registrations with indications of vehicles from the Toowoomba, Gold Coast and Brisbane areas.
The Display will be in Queens Park on the cnr of Lindsay and Margaret Streets, Toowoomba from 10 am until 3 pm.
There are no lunch facilities, so bring a picnic lunch.
The main shopping centre of Toowoomba is only 3 blocks away
Toilets are close by as well as playgrounds for children so it would be an excellent opportunity for a great day out.
PLEASE NOTE: NO FOR SALE SIGNS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE DISPLAY
