My original plan was to take an easterly route to the headwaters of the Mississippi and then meander in a general NW fashion into Canada. But, since I will need to come down out of Canada smack in the middle of the continent, I have changed my plans to take a western route up through the Rocky Mountains. Anyone care to comment on "must see" stops? Most of my travels have been east of the Mississippi. EDIT >> It might help if you knew that I am starting out in East Texas.
