| These are the oem guages that I have spent years finding and installing in my '88 244GL 182K. You don't know how hard it was to find the oem oil temp sender. A must have if you flog your car like I do. This car has a new head and gasket, engine seals, IPD cam, trans cooler, B21FT oil cooler, slotted rotors, ceramic pads, calipers, 242GT upper and lower braces, power sunroof, turbo power mirrors, rear headrests. Child safety guard, center armrest with cupholders. I also converted the entire interior from GL tan to GL black. '90 instrument cluster with the frontal service reset light (used my original speedo and tach.) Complete new fuel system, turbo sway bars, IPD poly bushings front and rear with the adj torque and pannard rods, lowering springs, turbo exhaust.
My goal is to make this a GT if Volvo still offered it in '88. I know it's 4 door but they stopped offering the 2 door in '85. The only thing left is paint which will be this summer when I have time to strip her down to the chassis. I'm still on the fence converting the AW70 to a m45 and a 16valve turbo combo. I'm the second owner and have had her for 12+ years. I maintain my family's fleet of RWD Volvos and I'm known in my area as the Volvo nut so I have a rep to uphold. Did I forget anything? |
