Disk size: Please try to keep your images as small as possible. The ideal is around 512 kilobytes, and it is entirely possible to make even a detailed photo image this small while keeping the image sharp. Please consult your scanner/image software documentation for details.

Visual size: the maximum width is 640 pixels. Height should be no more than 640 pixels. The system will enforce these parameters if they are exceeded, resulting in distortion.

Overly large images, disk-wise or visually, will be either edited or removed. All images are subject to editing or removal without explanation.

Do not repost pictures found on another site. If you want to share pictures you found on another site, just link it from a forum post. There has been a trend of funny picture reposting. The aim of this gallery is to share pictures between users of this site, taken by users of this site.

It is recommended that you use Picasa from Google to manage your pictures. It will allow you to fine tune your picture, including the size. This applies to users of Windows.
