Hello all,
After quite some time, I have decided that I need to purchase a new car and unfortunately get rid of my 1987 Volvo 240 wagon. Its in relatively good shape, IT RUNS. "It runs", but it runs even better when you put power steering fluid in it every couple times you drive it. "It runs", but probably even better with a quart of oil (whenever you think about it... most likely when you replace the power steering fluid). The car won't pass emissions testing, therefore my registration expired (which resulted in a ticket), so I've stopped driving it, because I don't want to fix the car, I need more reliable transportation. Everything else works pretty well, though. Its in great condition considering the age. New stereo system, air/heat work great, breaks great, new tires last year, door handles all replace, power windows work fine. The spedometer quit working about 6months ago at 215,285.
My question is... does anyone know what I can do with it? I'd like to make some $$$ on it, but I'm not sure what to really do with it. I think the registration is maybe an issue.
Ideas would be greatly appreciated. I've considered donating, but quite frankly, I could benefit from some $$$ right now. THanks!!
