What are the torque specifications for a T-belt job? 850 1996

Klaus,

The iPd DVD instructing how to replace the t-belt shows the technician removing the metal belt guard (held in place with two bolts) first and then removing the 30 mm bolt that holds the crank shaft pulley. He removes the crank shaft pulley. Then he removes the t-belt.

Is it unecessary to remove the crank shaft pulley in order to remove the t-belt?

Klaus, thanks.

Hugh

P.S. Personally, I would like to avoid removing the pulley. The 30 mm bolt and the pulley itself will undoubtly be on very tight, and I really don't have much room to bring any leverage upon either component.
