I am looking at buying a 2006 XC90 with the V8 engine after seeing so many five cylinder models with significant oil sludge on the dip stick and oil filler cap. Any comments on the reliability of the V8 engine Yamaha engine and the model in general. I am also not looking at ones with the V6 engine given their problems with the transmission.
