This is the '95? Your converter is probably fine, but fouled from the results of the air leak. Give it awhile to recover before making any hasty decisions. When I got mine, the thermostat was broken, which I think was the cause of an O2 sensor code. Once the thermostat was fixed, the code eventually went away (he says hopefully, having not checked in awhile). Earlier models apparently did have some problems.
